The man who allegedly threw a water bottle at Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving has pleaded not guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon Wednesday, according to CBS Boston.

Cole Buckley, who is accused of throwing a water bottle at Irving during Sunday's game, was ordered to stay away from TD Garden by a Boston Municipal Court judge.

Buckley, 21, did not speak to reporters outside the courthouse.

Buckley posted $500 bond and was released. He's due back in court in August.

Cole Buckley arrested and charged with felony

Buckley was arrested shortly after he allegedly threw the water bottle. He was charged with a felony Monday, and faces a lifetime ban from TD Garden. Irving and Kevin Durant expressed frustration over the incident, with Durant telling Buckley to "grow the f*** up."

Buckley's alleged water bottle toss is among a number of fan-related incidents NBA players have faced in the playoffs. The Utah Jazz ejected and banned three fans for heckling the family of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant, and a fan in Philadelphia was banned after dumping popcorn on Russell Westbrook.
