Attending the 2020 College Football National Championship Game between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Ohio State Monday evening? If you weren't lucky enough to be one of roughly 16,000 admitted into Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, well, you at least might be saving your wallet from taking a bit of a beating at the concession stands.
As captured by Michael Casagrande of AL.com, fans in attendance will have to spend a pretty penny if they intend to purchase any food in the stadium. A cheeseburger? That'll be 11 dollars. A hot dog? Make it 12. And let's not forget the 11 dollar beers or the 14 dollar cups of soda either.

The College Football Playoff Championship Game is being held at Hard Rock Stadium for the first time since the playoff was introduced in 2014. The stadium played host to the semifinals in both 2015 and 2018 when the Orange Bowl was in the rotation. A national championship was last contested at the venue in January 2013, when Alabama defeated Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game for the 2012 season.
As for Monday's matchup, it is the first time that Alabama and Ohio State have clashed since meeting the Sugar Bowl semifinal for the inaugural playoff on New Year's Day 2015. The Buckeyes would go on to upend the Tide before knocking off No. 2 Oregon for the national championship. It remains Ohio State's most recent title to date. Alabama, meanwhile, last won it all during the 2017 season, defeating Georgia for the championship.
