The LA Clippers had to cool their jets pregame while their in-arena rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, received their last reward for winning the NBA 2019-2020 title -- their championship rings. But they'd already picked up some pretty sweet swag of their own before they even set foot on the court.
Small forward Nicolas Batum doesn't appear to be the only Clippers player who received a PlayStation 5 with new headphones in his locker when he shared this from the locker room pregame:
This might have been a surprise to Clippers head coach Ty Lue. When asked if he'd also gotten a PS5, "I might, I don't know what I got."
Getting goodies like that set up the Clippers pretty nicely for their free time -- PS5's just came out in November, and aren't easy to get this deep into the holiday shopping season. Whoever wins the first game of the season between the Western Conference rivals, the Clippers apparently already have a leg up on winning Christmas.
